Marinetek operates under the ISO 9001 quality system. Furthermore the concrete pontoons have been approved to many other quality standards like Finnish SFS and German DIN. Schwimmstege benefit from hot-dipped galvanised steel reinforcements and fibre concrete to reduce shrinkage and cracking, which are common problems in thin concrete cast. This production process is adopted by all sub-contractors, who also work to the Marinetek quality system.
