Marinetek timber pontoons
with concrete floats are long lasting, maintenance-free and economical
to purchase. Systems are assembled using pre-fabricated timber-framed
deck elements to create a rigid and continuous structure.
Systems with plastic floats are light and easy to handle. They are
assembled using pre-fabricated components and are connected by flexible
rubber bolt joints.
The pontoons are designed for boat mooring and general-purpose
use and can be constructed to exact customer requirements in terms
of length and loading capacity. They can be easily modified, even
after installation, to suit many different shape and layout arrangements.
The frames of the pontoons are of treated Nordic pine and grooved
deck boards either treated softwood or hardwood. Optional accessories
include wooden fenders and cable trays. Mooring is by chain, pile
or Seaflex.
